GridPop

Last updated: June 14, 2026

1. Data Controller

This application ("GridPop") is developed and operated by:

Imed AOUIDENE (individual / physical person), France
Email: contact@z2pdevops.com

2. Data We Collect

2.1 Data collected automatically

  • Analytics data: anonymized usage events (screens viewed, games started/finished, scores, features used) via Firebase Analytics. This data is associated with a randomly generated app-instance ID, not with your identity.
  • Advertising identifiers: the Google Advertising ID (Android) or IDFA (iOS) may be used to serve ads via Google AdMob. You can reset or limit this identifier in your device settings. On iOS, the IDFA is used for personalized ads only if you allow it via Apple's App Tracking Transparency prompt; if you choose "Ask App Not to Track", you still see ads, but non-personalized ones.

2.2 Data you provide

  • Purchase information: in-app purchases (e.g. "Remove Ads") are processed entirely by Google Play or the Apple App Store. We do not collect or store your payment details.
  • Support emails: if you contact us, we collect your email address and message to respond.

2.3 Data we do NOT collect

  • We do not collect your name, postal address, phone number, photos, contacts, or precise location.
  • We do not require account creation or login. Your game progress is stored only on your device.

3. Purpose & Legal Basis (GDPR Art. 6)

  • Analytics & advertising: in the EEA/UK, processed on the basis of your consent (Art. 6(1)(a)), collected through the in-app consent form shown on first launch. Outside the EEA/UK, analytics may rely on legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f)).
  • In-app purchases: performance of a contract (Art. 6(1)(b)).

Where consent is required, you can withdraw or change it at any time from the app's Settings → Privacy choices.

4. Third-Party Services

  • Firebase Analytics (Google LLC) — usage analytics. Privacy info
  • Google AdMob (Google LLC) — ad serving and consent management (UMP). Privacy Policy
  • Google Play / Apple App Store — in-app purchase processing.

Data may be transferred to the United States. Google LLC participates in the EU-US Data Privacy Framework.

5. Data Retention

  • Firebase Analytics: retained up to 14 months, then automatically deleted.
  • Game progress and settings: stored locally on your device only (we have no access).
  • Support emails: retained as long as necessary to resolve your inquiry, then deleted within 12 months.

6. Your Rights (GDPR & French Law)

Under the GDPR (EU 2016/679) and the French Loi Informatique et Libertés, you may:

  • Access, rectify, or erase your personal data
  • Restrict or object to processing, and request data portability
  • Withdraw consent at any time (without affecting prior lawful processing)
  • Lodge a complaint with the CNIL: www.cnil.fr

To exercise these rights, contact contact@z2pdevops.com.

7. Children's Privacy & Age Assurance

GridPop is not directed at children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has provided us data, contact us and we will delete it.

Where required by law — including certain U.S. states such as Texas under the App Store Accountability Act (SB 2420) — age range and parental-consent signals are provided by the app stores (Apple's Declared Age Range API, Google Play's age signals). We use these signals only to deliver age-appropriate content and ads (general-audience, not child-directed) and do not store them. Ads are always requested with a "G" content rating.

8. Security

We use industry-standard measures (HTTPS, encrypted storage) to protect data. No method of electronic transmission is 100% secure.

9. Changes

We may update this policy. Changes are posted here with a new "Last updated" date. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
